Woo! Of the 7 total tracks to be on the upcoming album Urraca, this is the second release. It’s my first track with original vocals (my own voice) and it’s the most progressive song I’ve released so far. It’s about the bombing of the atmosphere during Operation Dominic, which sparked a vibrant aurora which hung across the pacific for hours.

Nikolais Javan is a long time friend and hard working producer. He’s been releasing tracks frequently for the past couple of years, and has finally compiled an EP, called Fun-Da-Mentals. He’s said these works were all produced between January and March. There’s a little bit of every genre in here, some reggae-ska, dubstep, hardcore, rock n roll… Just check it out.
Hipsturbed is a tight music blog run by two dudes, Austen van der Bleek and Arturo Macias. Austen is from Miami, and thus, Hipsturbed is home-grown goods.
The word music blog technically applies to any blog about music, but Hipsturbed is more than most. Rather than an onslaught of downloads of various credibility and quality, they display a love for the music they post. They write-up live shows, something rarely seen on blogs, and important. (How many shows have you been to and thought “Man, I wish I knew they sucked live.”?) They create original mixes, and most importantly they seek out and support fledgling artists.
Visit the site HERE, and check out all the great music and writing they have.
OK, more new content for the site. I’m gonna post awesome shit about SPACE and fuckin’ SCIENCE. Why? Because I love all the space quadrants equally. OK, I’m a little bit biased towards our half of the milky way…
But really, check out this slideshow on Space.com, it features graphic art based on discoveries of some really interesting planets.
This track was produced by Lofty, a friend of mine from Miami. He teamed up with another friend, Emerson Rosenthal (also one of the founders of fadecounty.com, but more on that some other time), Emerson produced this video.
It features two chicks making out, but apparently viewed through the eyes of someone who’s gulped down like twenty sleeping pills and a big cup of espresso. Fuck.
Anyways, it’s dope. Peep:

Alright, here goes another dope local set out of the Square Biz camp. Black Bob has been a friend and supporter of my own music for over a year now. Without a doubt this man has the dedication and flow to take it to the top.
This A/B-Side features two songs, one is the original track “The Prince Akeem Theory” which happens to be my favorite Black Bobby track in a while. The other is a fresh flow over Lil’ Wayne’s 6’7′ beat, entitled “Indie Weezy“. Both are ill, and the download is free as fuck.
It’s a few months since he dropped this, and he recorded a few fresh tracks at my home-studio since they dropped, so I can personally guarantee that more fire is on the way.
This is something I’ve been meaning to do for months. I’ve been way too busy with my own music and working on my forthcoming EP to post on here, but then I realized I had to do this. I have to give to the local scene, because the scene I want to be a part of has to be fully blossomed.
So, here’s the first post of my new series, “HOME GROWN”. I’ll be posting cool things that are being done in Miami or by Miami cats. Most of it will be music, but I’ll be showing some cool blogs, companies and local artists who show lots of potential and are totally worth checking out!
Now, moving on to Young Spook’s Local Addiction Mixtape.
This tape is sick. Young Spook is one of the illest kids doing it down here, and he’s been doing bigger and better things since he dropped this fire.
If you ask me, he’s officially slept on until he’s on the radio.
Click the cover art (or here) to get to the Datpiff.com page for the mixtape. (You don’t have to sign up, the album is SPONSORED, AKA FREE), or listen to one of the illest tracks below:
Great news! My girl Jesse Meadows just completed a stop-motion photo-video with my track “Lindblum” as the music. I’m very excited as this is essentially my first music video as well as her first video of this kind. Anyways, check it out (check the links below the video):
NOTE: some classy nudity in here. NSFW tho and also not safe for prudes.
I got ahold of this song a month or 2 ago, I’m posting it now because it’s been bumpin in my speakers since then and its the shit. A-trak holds it down here, electro style synths on a hip-hop beat. If radio weren’t pay-for-play, we’d have a hit here:
NOTE: I’m not posting only the newest shit blah blah blah. I’m posting music that I think is dope and is at least relatively new or under-appreciated. Not posting downloads because it’s a huge hassle and if you don’t know how to get free music on the internet, ITS REALLY EASY, GOOGLE IT.
RATATAT recently released the Hyetal remix to the track “Neckbrace” off the latest LP4. The original (if you don’t remember) features the fuckedupinagoodway vocal bassline, which is not present at all in the remix. The remix is almost on a dubstep sound, but much more spacey and experimental. I really dig the total reworking (partly because I’m spacey and experimental) but anyways, you can peep the track below or DOWNLOAD IT BELOW THE YOUTUBE CLIP
